Jen most likely developed an interest in architecture and design in the many hours building elaborate cities with Legos with her brother and neighbors. Working all those late nights in the studio at Kent State University, she realized it really would be fun to get paid to draw and put together buildings every day.
Jen enjoys the challenge that every project brings. Whether working with everyone on the team to make the design vision a reality or figuring out a technical detail, there is always a puzzle to put together. Learning from every project and sharing your knowledge with others is so important to make each project the best one. You are trusted to make a safe place where people live, work or visit and through architecture you can make an impact on countless people’s lives.
Jen came to Florida for a summer internship and after graduation with her Master of Architecture, decided living in the snow was not for her. After spending a decade in the Orlando area, she moved to Southwest Florida to be closer to the coast to enjoy the easy access to great sailing, fishing and beaches. When she is able to squeeze in a bit of free time you can most likely find her somewhere out on the water!
